I spent 10 days in the Alpes in mid January – the weather was very cold and it snowed heavily. This meant the vineyards in the Rhone Valley were covered in snow in the mornings, which gave the opportunity to photography not only the landscape but graphic details of the vines. The Rhone Valley is one of Switzerland’s main wine growing areas with vines packed into every nook and cranny.
