Just returned from our annual visit to Skomer Island in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Puffins were feeding their young with sand eels. The Little Owl, the Short Eared Owl. Gulls and Oystercatchers were seen with their fledglings. Shearwaters arrived back to their burrows around midnight, filling the night air with their eerie calls. A very special place!
