Autumn

November 14, 2016

Autumn colours have been superb this year and the leaves are still hanging on.

I was a little too late for the main rutting period, but I caught some young stags “play fighting” in Richmond Park.  A couple of weeks earlier there would have been more drama. These shots were taken at the end of October.  A murmuration of starlings on our local lakes – Frensham Ponds.  Not easy to photography because of the light levels but a spectacular sight with thousands gathering at dusk.
